We make regular journeys to the country to meet new and existing suppliers first-hand, and every product we sell has been thoroughly tested for quality. Our suppliers are fairly unknown in the UK, and we are the sole UK stockist for a number of brands, despite their popularity overseas. This exclusivity means that when you buy an item from Centurion, it’s unlikely you’ll ever meet anyone else with the same piece.
Our focus is on complete customer satisfaction, and so we offer a unique home consultancy service, meeting customers at home before any sale takes place to finalise details and give our expert recommendations. We have a 100% customer satisfaction record – No item has ever been returned. We aim to maintain this record, and so our consultants will ensure that your order is perfect for you.
Our home delivery service includes fitting and assembly in most cases, and we deliver nationwide and at times which suit our customers. The majority of our orders are made-to-order and shipped from Italy, so we take great precautions in ensuring their complete safety en-route.
We use a custom-built online ordering system using the latest technologies, ensuring that any data transmitted is kept safe and secure. Every order is processed manually once your details arrive at our offices, ensuring that you’ll never be mischarged. However, if you’d prefer to order offline, we’ll gladly go through the process with you over the phone.
We know our products aren’t the cheapest Italian pieces around. However, we can guarantee that everything we sell is high-quality and created with incredible attention to detail, using 100% real wood and real wood veneers. We don’t intend to compete with the mass-manufactured, ‘discount’ market. Company History
Founded in 2003 as a bricks-and-mortar supplier in Stoke-on-Trent, Centurion Furnishings was created with the intent of supplying only the highest quality authentic Italian furniture to the UK market. However, an unfortunate location meant that business was limited. In 2005 we were acquired by the respected Woodpecker Interiors, who transformed the business into an Internet-based venture, with a focus on customer satisfaction and an unbeatable level of service.
In 2008 the site underwent a dramatic transformation, with a complete rebranding, bringing it up to cutting-edge web standards. Using the latest technologies, a revamped and rejuvenated Centurion web site was created, with an easily-searched, easily-browsed online catalogue and complete product descriptions.
